ASK - Pam Norpell

The purpose of this  ministry is to  provide a vehicle for individuals to express a need of items or services. Written requests are posted on bulletin board for congregational help or response.

Anyone who has  items or  services to donate, may also post information on this board.

Audio/Visual - Warren Wakerlin

If you are a technical whiz, enjoy working behind the scenes, you can be a tremendous help in this crucial area.

Building - Perry Hurtt

Individuals on this team enjoy fix-it projects and have experience in painting, plumbing, electrical areas. They provide assistance to maintain building and physical surroundings.

Chaplains - Marge Orchard

Chaplains are at every Sunday service and all special services to hold sacred space and pray with anyone who has a prayer need for themselves or someone they love. Chaplains are also available for home, hospital, and nursing home visits as requested.    Chaplain Webpage

Decorating team - Cindy Caterer

"Are your fingers itching to add a touch of color there, and just tweak that wreath a little here? Maybe this is the volunteer team just waiting for you to add your personal flare! The Decorating Team is responsible for maintaining and changing the floral decorations at Fox Valley Unity as the seasons change."

Greeter / Usher - Gail-Marie Denton

Team members distribute bulletins, greet/ seat individuals, and collect love offerings during service.

Greeters are also responsible for newcomers packets. A great way to meet people and collect hugs!

Hospitality - Deb McQuaid

Hosting special events like Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. is a big job that requires lots of support. Team members serve as the set up and clean up crews for church celebrations.

Landscape - Corrine Aigner

Get grounded at FVU and enhance our outdoor landscape. Team members plant, cultivate and maintain our grounds with lots of love and nurturing green thumbs.

 

Lending Library - Alana Ziegenmeyer and Junene Carnahan

Volunteers are needed to help shelf, sort, inventory and manage our continually circulating supply of used books. Team members will also assist with Annual Used Book Sale.

Outreach - Althea Ardmore

Team members act as community liaisons and coordinators for various programs: Sharing Connections, Mutual Ground, Crop Walk, Habitat for Humanity, Giving Tree, Stuffed Love, etc. Our International Outreach projects reach out globally to those in need around the world.

Sunday School - Barbara DuRocher

"Angel Sponsors" (teachers and aides) are needed to assist in all of our children's classes downstairs for the 11:15 service. This commitment does not necessarily require working every Sunday; many of our teachers and aides make commitments to work alternating Sundays or once-a-month. Curriculum and materials are supplied through the Youth Ed, and alll of our teachings are based on the Unity Principles and the teachings of Jesus.

Everyone prospers spiritually ~ the children and the sponsors! We have lots of fun, too!   

Sunday Treats - No team - Just sign up to bring in treats.

Share your blessings with our family and volunteer to bring goodies on Sunday for after service fellowship and special services.

Tape Ministry - Rick & Marsha McKay

Sunday services, guest speakers and special programs are taped for our congregation. Team responsibilities include the tape duplication and sales of tapes and CDs of weekly services and special events.
